Long Pulse Nd:Yag Laser

The gold standard for effective hair removal and skin rejuvenation, safe for all skin tones. Unveil smoother, clearer skin with unparalleled precision and comfort.

The Gold Standard for All Skin Tones

The Long Pulse Nd:Yag is a highly versatile laser that operates at a 1064nm wavelength, allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin than many other lasers. This unique characteristic makes it exceptionally safe and effective for all skin types, including darker and tanned skin. Its energy selectively targets melanin in hair follicles for removal, hemoglobin in blood vessels to treat vascular lesions, and water in the dermis to stimulate collagen, all while protecting the surrounding tissue. Combined with an advanced cooling system, it offers a comfortable and efficient treatment experience.

How It Works: The Power of 1064nm

Our advanced laser technology uses a specific wavelength and pulse duration to selectively target and treat skin concerns without harming surrounding tissue.

For Hair Removal

The 1064nm laser energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft, generating heat that destroys the follicle and prevents future growth.

For Vascular Lesions

The energy is absorbed by hemoglobin in blood, causing unwanted vessel walls to collapse and fade from view. Ideal for spider veins and redness.

For Skin Rejuvenation

The laser's heat gently penetrates the dermis, stimulating a natural healing response and promoting the production of new collagen for firmer, brighter skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, warm snap. Our laser is equipped with a Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD) that sprays a cooling mist onto the skin just before each laser pulse, significantly improving comfort and making the treatment very tolerable.

For hair removal, typically 5-8 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart are needed for optimal results, as hair grows in different cycles. For skin rejuvenation or vascular treatments, 3-5 sessions may be recommended. Your practitioner will create a custom plan during your consultation.

There is virtually no downtime. You may experience some mild redness or slight swelling in the treated area, which usually resolves within a few hours to a day. You can return to your normal daily activities immediately following your session.

The 1064nm wavelength penetrates deeper into the skin and is less absorbed by melanin at the skin's surface (epidermis). This unique property allows the laser to bypass the superficial pigment and target the hair follicle or blood vessel deep below. This makes it the safest and most effective option for individuals with tan or darker skin tones, minimizing the risk of burns or pigmentation changes that can occur with other types of lasers.
